I love Easter! It’s always so fun to have the kids wake up to the excitement of finding their Easter basket and digging into sweets at 6:30 in the morning. I also just love having to get everyone dressed in perfectly matching and clean Easter Dresses and Outfits! Yeah… that never happens. Can you sense my sarcasm? I always attempt to make everyone look good and put together and I always seem to fail. One kid steps in mud. The other messes up their hair. It just always happens that way. While I can never seem to get the kids to do what I want them to do. I CAN seem to get the table and dinner to work with me and not against me! Like I’ve said before… every once in a while I have it together!
Most years I host Easter at my house. All of the local family joins and usually we’ll have friends or neighbors here as well. I grew up in a house where you didn’t leave people out. If they needed a place for the holidays they just became part of the family! This year I’m not hosting BUT I know some of you probably are so I used my creative, event planning – ninja skills to help you get at least a little bit together.
